Revisiting the Image: Year 2

I believe that patient centered care is the most important aspect associated with being a good nurse. Patients must come first. I have learned in NSG 202 that it is the nurses job when working alongside the rest of the healthcare system to advocate for their patients and create an environment that puts the patients care as the priority. The nurse is the patients touchstone. I think this image provided by Art.uk depicting a nurse guiding a wounded soldier and a child off of a battlefield really shows the way in which the nurse is a shield for those who need protection and care.
